SMI recognizes that there are individuals who have extensive experience as sales professionals who have gained their skills and knowledge through formal education or on-the-job training. SMI will grant the CSP certification based on the above without examination.
Members eligible for Certification via the Grandfathering Provision may apply directly to SMI for the grant of CSP professional certification based on education, and experience in sales, which demonstrate their competency.
